The domestic tourism market in the summer of 2025 is recording vibrant movements. Travel businesses proactively plan systematically to meet the increasingly diverse needs of tourists.
Many units have quickly implemented a series of business, marketing campaigns and incentive programs to welcome the peak summer tourism season.
According to travel businesses, familiar destinations such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Vung Tau, Quang Binh and Thanh Hoa continue to be in the group of localities that attract the attention and choice of tourists this summer.
In addition, cool destinations such as Da Lat, Sapa, Moc Chau and Ha Giang are widely chosen by tourists to avoid the heat.

Some emerging destinations such as Quy Nhon, Co To Island or Ninh Binh are also attracting attention thanks to their natural beauty.
The trend of choosing eco-resorts and homestays near big cities is also increasing, especially for young people.
Mr. Pham Anh Vu - Deputy General Director of Viet Travel Company assessed that the domestic market is showing positive growth signals, especially after the April 30 and May 30 holidays. The unit forecasts that the number of domestic visitors this summer may increase by 15 - 20% compared to the same period last year.
This business predicts that the summer tourism trend in 2025 will focus on types such as family travel, small group travel and especially the strong growth of MICE tourism (tourism combined with conferences, seminars, events) and team-building.
Mr. Vu commented that an important factor affecting travel decisions is airfares. Airfares during peak season are often under increased pressure due to high demand. The expected increase in airfares is 10-20% compared to the low period.
To support customers with early travel plans, the unit has implemented many incentive programs for booking tours early, with a discount of up to 2 million VND.
Meanwhile, Vietluxtour Company also early launched a business and marketing plan for this summer from the end of 2024. Digital marketing strategies are also being promoted by businesses with a focus on promoting destinations through impressive images of nature, cuisine and competitive price policies.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Bao Thu - Marketing - Communications Director of Vietluxtour Company, by early May 2025, the unit had implemented more than 40% of its domestic tourism business plan, including the individual and group customers.
In the retail market, in addition to traditional package tours, tourists increasingly prefer free&easy, custom-done tours on request or booking for individual services (hotels, air tickets, car rental...).
In the group tour segment, especially for businesses, the peak season has started since the first quarter. The unit has signed a series of MICE tour and team-building contracts in coastal cities such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, Quang Ninh, etc.
