On May 23, in Phu Quoc City, the Kien Giang Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center held a launching ceremony for the summer tourism program and announced the programs to stimulate Kien Giang tourism in 2025.
Ms. Quang Xuan Lua - Director of the Kien Giang Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center said that the locality is not only outstanding for its beautiful beaches and pristine islands, but also for its diverse and rich culture, with valuable heritages of nature and people. Therefore, tourism has become one of the spearhead economic sectors, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province.
To effectively implement the tourism development stimulus program in 2025 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, contributing to striving to complete the target set by the People's Committee of Kien Giang province on Economic Growth (GRDP) of 10.02% and the target of striving to reach 11.05 million visitors, including 1.2 million international visitors.
The Kien Giang Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center coordinated with the Kien Giang Provincial Tourism Association, relevant departments, branches and units to organize a launching ceremony for the summer tourism program and announce programs to stimulate Kien Giang tourism in 2025.
After more than 1 month of launching a tourism stimulus program, tourism businesses have coordinated to build programs linking destinations, products and services, creating product packages, promotional combos, etc.
The launching ceremony of the summer tourism program promises to bring visitors interesting and different product packages and experiences. In particular, with tourism stimulus programs, we not only attract domestic tourists but also create conditions for international tourists to return and explore the beauty of Kien Giang.
With the message of Vietnam - Go to Love; Phu Quoc Paradise of the Sea; the tourism development stimulus program in 2025 is not only an opportunity for us to promote the natural, cultural and historical beauty of Kien Giang but also an invitation for all people and tourists at home and abroad to join hands to build the tourism industry into a spearhead economic sector of the province.
These programs will focus on unique tourism products of Kien Giang such as sea and island tourism, eco-tourism, cultural tourism and cuisine. At the same time, the province will also continue to improve the quality of tourism products and services, improve tourism infrastructure, and train high-quality human resources to meet the increasing needs of tourists.
Tourism businesses play a key role in the success of the stimulus program.
