On December 25, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City held a conference to deploy the work of the culture, sports and tourism sector of Da Nang City in 2026.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City said that 2025 is a special year with many important political, historical and cultural events of the country and the city.

In that context, the fields of culture, sports and tourism continue to achieve many positive results.
In particular, the tourism industry continues to be a bright spot in the industry, maintaining its role as a spearhead economic sector and maintaining double-digit growth, contributing significantly to the city's socio-economic development.
In 2025, the number of tourists and tourism revenue will continue to grow impressively; in particular, international tourism markets will recover strongly. The system of accommodation, travel and tourism services is constantly improving, improving service quality, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh emphasized.

In addition, the promotion, advertising and development of tourism products has been promoted; many new tourism products such as green tourism, MICE tourism, sports tourism, culinary tourism have gradually affirmed their brands. The tourism environment is maintained, the image of "Da Nang - a safe, friendly, attractive destination" continues to spread.
According to Ms. Hanh, in 2026, Da Nang City will identify developing tourism associated with culture and sports to create difference and sustainable growth, taking the criteria of green tourism and quality of services and high-end products as a measure to attract visitors and enhance the competitiveness of the destination.
Along with that, the industry will strengthen regional linkages, expand international cooperation, effectively mobilize social resources for cultural, sports and tourism development; at the same time, innovate state management of the press, perfect the grassroots information system on human resources and equipment.
