On May 13, the People's Committee of Con Dao Special Zone (HCMC) just issued a document agreeing on the policy of organizing the introduction and bringing the project "Nation Flag Road - Con Dao Flower Road" into the tourist routes of historical - cultural - spiritual relics in the Con Dao special zone.
In which, the People's Committee of the Con Dao Special Zone assigned the Public Service Supply Center to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to promote propaganda and promote the image of the "National Flag Road - Con Dao Flower Road" project on digital platforms.
At the same time, coordinate to update and standardize introduction content, historical documents, official propaganda information related to the project; connect with tourist routes in the area, integrate into the 3D 360° Con Dao tourism map system and digital publications, creating favorable conditions for tourists to learn information and experience.
National Flag Road - Con Dao Flower Road" is a new project inaugurated at the 74th Anniversary of the Hero of the People's Armed Forces Vo Thi Sau (January 23, 1952 - January 23, 2026), located on Nguyen An Ninh road leading to Hang Duong Cemetery - a place that annually welcomes millions of people and tourists to visit and pay respects to heroic martyrs.
The project has a scale of 57 flagpoles, 57 flower beds, stretching 228 meters, contributing to creating a beautiful and solemn landscape, while honoring the cultural - historical - spiritual values that are very special of Con Dao. Each red flag with a yellow star flying like a reminder of sacred sovereignty, patriotism and gratitude to the generations who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
