Con Dao Special Zone (HCMC) is a destination that attracts quite a lot of people and tourists to visit and experience every year. Besides spiritual tourism, tourism to the origin, interesting backpacking spots, and resort paradises, Con Dao still has many things for tourists to experience and explore.
For example, Vietnam has 11 points marking the baseline from A1 to A11 (referred to as the baseline), located on islands and extending from Hon Nhan Island (An Giang) to Ly Son Island (Quang Ngai). These are coordinate milestones at sea used to calculate territorial sea width, announced in 1982.
In which, on the islands belonging to the Con Dao special zone, there are up to 3 grassroots points. Those are grassroots points A3 located on Hon Tai Lon, point A4 located on Hon Bong Lan, point A5 located on Hon Bay Canh.

Mr. Hoang Trung - an employee of Con Dao National Park - said that during the working process, there were many opportunities to bring tourists to visit, touch the facilities and take souvenir photos.
When standing and touching the basic points, I feel that the Fatherland is not only on the map, but very real in every wave, every gust of wind and milestone standing tall in the ocean," Mr. Trung said.
These base points are just a quiet location in the middle of nature in the Con Dao special zone, but they carry extremely sacred legal and sovereignty values. Each base point is gilded with stone in the shape of the national flag, attached with annotations and bronze drum symbols. In particular, on the surface of the bronze drum is a map of the country in the shape of an S, which includes annotations of Hoang Sa, Truong Sa, Con Dao, Phu Quoc archipelagos.
