On April 25, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police informed that the 2025 Sam Son Sea Tourism Festival with the theme "Sam Son - Aspiration to shine" will officially open tomorrow evening (April 26) at the Sam Son Sea Square stage. This is an important political and cultural event, starting the 2025 coastal tourism season.
With the goal of proactively preventing, deterring, and limiting conditions for crime and law violations; promptly detecting, combating, preventing and strictly handling violations - especially during the opening night of the Sam Son Sea Tourism Festival 2025 - Thanh Hoa Provincial Police issued a plan to prevent and combat crimes, ensuring safety and order.
In particular, 400 officers and soldiers of the crime prevention and control investigation sector were mobilized, and 112 working groups (each team has 2 to 5 police officers) were established to set up checkpoints and mobile patrols in crowded areas such as: the Sea Square and the festival landscape axis, Ho Xuan Huong Street, entertainment areas, beaches, areas with many nightclubs... to deploy propaganda measures, warn, detect, and suppress crimes - especially crimes that take advantage of crowds to operate such as: theft, hook, robbery, robbery, fraud, extortion, property extortion, intentional injury, gambling, drugs...
Along with that, the reinforced forces will establish working groups to both set up fixed checkpoints and organize mobile patrols (pedal) in crowded areas; use loudspeakers to hold hands or directly remind people and tourists to protect and keep assets, not create loopholes for subjects to take advantage of to commit crimes.
In addition, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have established 12 closed mobile patrol teams on key routes and areas to coordinate and support forces setting up checkpoints to observe, detect, prevent, arrest and handle the activities of all types of criminals; arrange officers and soldiers to use cameras and flycams to proactively prevent and detect violations of the law.
