On May 14, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced that it had just issued a plan to organize the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 with the theme "Colors of the Ocean - International reach".
According to the plan, the Festival will take place from July 17 to 19 at April 2nd Square, Nha Trang ward and some other locations in the province.
Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 is organized on a national scale, with the participation of many central ministries and branches, as well as provinces and cities in the country and international localities with diplomatic cooperation relations with Khanh Hoa.
The event is expected to have nearly 30 outstanding activities and programs to promote the cultural image and sea tourism of the locality, while creating a highlight to attract domestic and international tourists.
The main activities of the Festival include the opening ceremony taking place on the evening of July 17; Carnival festival combined with flower car parade with the theme "Nha Trang Sea Flowers" held in the afternoon of July 18.
On the evening of July 18, the final of Supermodel and Mister Vietnam 2026 will take place, combined with the fashion and music show "Runway to the world - Step out into the world".
The closing ceremony and international music festival connecting five continents with the theme "Khanh Hoa, arms of friends from five continents" will take place on the evening of July 19.
In addition to the main programs, the Festival also has many cultural, sports, tourism and commercial activities such as an international conference on sea tourism development in Khanh Hoa; Khanh Hoa bird's nest cultural - culinary festival; Khanh Hoa sailing race 2026; Vietnam Ao Dai festival; agricultural week and OCOP products of the province.
Besides, there is the trade fair - culinary culture "Deliciousness of the coastal city - summer melody"; giant kite festival; street art performances; Lam Son fruit festival - Khanh Hoa 2026; art photo exhibition "Colors of coastal tourism culture Khanh Hoa 2026".
The Festival will also organize exhibition and cultural heritage practice activities of Bau Truc pottery, My Nghiep weaving, practice of Khanh Hoa National Intangible Cultural Heritage Agarwood; tourism stimulus programs and connecting domestic and international businesses.
There are also seminars on prices and service quality in tourism product development; Khanh Hoa province's science and technology week, innovation and digital transformation in 2026, and a series of sports activities in response to the Festival.
According to forecasts, the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 will attract about 600,000 - 800,000 visitors and tourists.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requests that activities within the framework of the Festival must be organized in a unique and rich manner, with the participation of many famous domestic and international artists; and at the same time ensure efficiency, safety, thrift and contribute to promoting socio-economic growth of the locality.
