On May 17, the Van An Pagoda Guardian Board, Van Tai village (Tu Ky commune, Hai Phong city) organized a traditional earthen firecracker exchange program, attracting a large number of people and tourists to watch and cheer.
Nearly 100 artillerymen from 4 hamlets in the village participated in the exchange. Right from the early afternoon, the pagoda grounds were bustling with drums and cheers. The artillery teams carried the spirit of solidarity, determination and elaborately prepared firecrackers, contributing to creating a vibrant atmosphere, imbued with the colors of folk culture of their homeland.
Each firecracker display shows the dexterity, strength and experience of the gunners. The booming clay firecrackers harmonized with the enthusiastic cheers of the people, making the festival even more exciting and joyful.

Not only is it a traditional folk game, earthen firecrackers are also an opportunity to connect the community, strengthen village and neighborhood affection, and at the same time contribute to preserving the cultural beauty passed down through many generations.
