On May 9, information from the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the 2026 Lang Sen Festival will be organized with many new and unique activities to celebrate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth.
Accordingly, the highlight of this year's festival is the event of announcing the decision on the National Tourist Area of Kim Lien Relic Site. This is considered an important milestone in the process of developing cultural and historical tourism in President Ho Chi Minh's homeland.

In addition to traditional rituals such as offering flowers and incense at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House at Kim Lien Relic Site and Chung Son Temple, the procession of Uncle Ho's photo from the Memorial House to Lang Sen stadium, the opening program of the festival is also invested on a large scale.
In particular, after the opening art program, a 15-minute high-altitude fireworks display will take place, creating a lively and solemn atmosphere for the May festival in Uncle Ho's hometown.
In addition to the ceremony part, the 2026 Sen Village Festival also expands many experiential activities for tourists. Including the "Lighting up Sen Village" night tourism program, "Mo Te Show - Sen Village Story" tour, "Village Market" space combined with cultural experience, OCOP product display, craft village products and local cuisine.
The organizing committee will also organize a parade, Lotus Ao Dai performance, along with many cultural, sports, and folk games associated with President Ho Chi Minh's childhood.
Along with that is the exhibition "80 years since Uncle Ho made the nationwide call for resistance" and a thematic exhibition on the system of museums and memorial sites of President Ho Chi Minh nationwide.
According to the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the communication work for this year's festival has also been innovated with a separate identity set, strengthening promotion on digital platforms and inviting some KOLs to participate in introducing tourism images of Uncle Ho's homeland.
