Gia Lai welcomes summer 2026 with a fiery music festival by the sea in Quy Nhon

Gia Lai - The opening night of the Summer Tourism Festival gathers famous artists, opening the summer tourism season with many unique cultural and entertainment activities.

On June 13, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province announced that the opening art program of the Summer Tourism Festival with the theme "Gia Lai welcomes summer 2026" will officially take place at 8:00 PM on June 20 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Quy Nhon ward.

This is a key event in the series of activities of the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026, aiming to promote the image, culture and tourism potential of the locality.

The program is built as an artistic journey connecting generations, combining traditional cultural influences with the breath of contemporary music, thereby introducing the identity and vitality of Gia Lai land.

The art night includes 2 parts: "Gia Lai - Calling Summer" and "Chill and Idol". With the appearance of Double2T, Kay Tran, LyLy, Nguyen Hung and beloved artists such as Phuc Bo, Hong Gam, Liz Nguy Thuy Linh, Felix Tien Quang..., the program promises to bring special performances and an explosive atmosphere to the audience.

Closing the opening night was an EDM music performance by professional DJs, creating a lively atmosphere in the square.

In addition to the art program, visitors also have the opportunity to participate in a series of activities throughout the summer. Prominent is the Quy Nhon Art Kite Festival on Xuan Dieu beach and a culinary space gathering from 60 - 80 booths introducing regional specialties and OCOP products.

Other unique cultural activities will also be organized such as the "Weekend Gong" program in Pleiku, traditional martial arts performances and Bai Choi in Nguyen Tat Thanh Square. In addition, many sports activities and folk games such as cross-country running, stick pushing, crossbow shooting, stilt walking will contribute to bringing diverse experiences to tourists.

Through the series of events, Gia Lai expects to continue to attract tourists, promote the image of destinations and create motivation for tourism development in the summer of 2026.
