On September 2nd, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province reported on the tourism activities during the National Day holiday of September 2nd.
During the 5-day holiday, from August 29 to September 2, Gia Lai is estimated to welcome 513,000 visitors, an increase of 48% compared to the same period in 2025. Total tourism revenue reached about 985 billion VND, an increase of 47%.
In which, tourist accommodation is estimated to reach 127,000 visitors, an increase of 32%; visitors to tourist areas and attractions reached about 386,000 visitors, an increase of 63% compared to the same period last year.
Tourists gathered in large numbers in the sea and island areas and famous tourist attractions such as Ky Co, Eo Gio, Nhon Ly, Nhon Hai, Nhon Chau island, Ghenh Rang - Tien Sa, Quy Nhon and Cat Tien beaches.
In the western area of the province, tourist attractions include Bien Ho, Dai Doan Ket Square, Pleiku Museum, Chu Dang Ya volcano and community tourism spots.
Some destinations recorded a large number of visitors during the 5-day holiday such as Eo Gio 13,300 visitors, Ky Co 12,500 visitors, "Thousand Flowers to the Coastal City" Festival more than 10,000 visitors, Science Discovery and Innovation Center 8,000 visitors, Ghenh Rang 8,000 visitors, Thien Hung Zen Monastery 7,500 visitors and Bien Ho Tourist Area 6,200 visitors...
Regarding aviation, during the 5-day holiday, Phu Cat and Pleiku Airports operated about 135 flights, an average of 22 flights/day, meeting the travel needs of people and tourists. Of which, Phu Cat Airport operated about 87 flights, and the rest were operated by Pleiku Airport.
During the holiday, Gia Lai province organizes many cultural, sports, and exhibition activities, contributing to creating a joyful atmosphere and attracting people and tourists.
