Gia Lai promotes tourism, connects international markets

Gia Lai introduces destinations, typical tourism products and major events at ITE HCMC 2026; connecting businesses and international partners to expand the visitor market.

On August 30, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province said that at the 20th Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair - ITE HCMC 2026 (August 27-29), the province focused on promoting destinations, tourism products and expanding connections with domestic and international markets.

ITE HCMC 2026 is one of Vietnam's major international tourism promotion events, with the participation of management agencies, tourism promotion organizations, travel businesses, accommodation, aviation and international partners.

The event is the largest scale ever, with more than 520 exhibition and brand units, the participation of 34 domestic provinces and cities and 260 international buyers from more than 40 countries and territories.

With the theme "Great forest touches blue sea", Gia Lai's promotion space focuses on introducing the 2026 National Tourism Year; unique destinations, products and tourism services; OCOP products, local specialties and business stimulus and promotion programs.

At the booth, Gia Lai introduced to visitors traditional musical instrument performances, folk art, Binh Dinh traditional martial arts and tourism promotion films, thereby introducing the combination of the great Central Highlands space, blue sea, indigenous culture and martial spirit.

In addition, Gia Lai participates in conferences, thematic seminars, programs introducing destinations and trade connections within the framework of the fair.

Through these activities, the province meets with travel businesses, airlines, service providers and international partners to introduce products, stimulus programs, expand cooperation opportunities and develop the customer market.

At the fair, Gia Lai continues to promote the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026 and introduce major cultural and tourism events taking place in the last months of the year, such as the International Gong Festival, the Wild Sunflower Festival - Chu Dang Ya Volcano and activities in response to the National Tourism Year.
