On August 30, leaders of Hoai Nhon Bac ward (Gia Lai) said that the locality has announced the suspension of activities within the framework of the Tourism Week held in Cau Lay Valley and La Vuong plateau.
From the night of August 29, the event area was affected by strong winds, causing many items serving the program to be affected and no longer ensure safety. Faced with this situation, the locality decided to stop the remaining activities to ensure safety for people and tourists.
La Vuong Tourism Week is organized by Hoai Nhon Bac Ward People's Committee, taking place from August 28 to September 2. In the first 2 days, the event attracted a large number of people and tourists to visit and experience. In particular, the opening night had many people and tourists attending.
The event is organized with many activities experiencing nature and culture in La Vuong. At the same time, OCOP fairs, children's play areas, folk games, check-in areas and booths introducing local products and specialties are arranged.
La Vuong Plateau is more than 700m above sea level, possessing a forest ecosystem and diverse flora. This area has a characteristic climate, considered a location with potential for ecotourism and experiential tourism development.
