Airfares increase sharply
After the BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR IN HANOI concert officially sold tickets in 3 rounds, all tickets were sold out. The two performances of the Korean group are scheduled to take place on October 24 and 25 at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi.
The heat of the concert is continuing to spread to the transportation and accommodation market as fans from many provinces and cities plan to come to Hanoi.
A survey of round-trip and direct airfares in the period from October 23-26 shows that many routes to Hanoi have increased significantly compared to the time before concert sales.

Notably, the Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi route currently costs from 4.3-10.2 million VND/person for round-trip tickets. Some flights with convenient time slots or high-class tickets cost more than 14 million VND/person. This price is significantly higher than at the beginning of August. At that time, a survey for the Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi route at the same time showed that the common price was from about 3.2-6.3 million VND/person, the highest level was more than 8 million VND.
Other routes also recorded high prices. Da Nang - Hanoi round-trip tickets are currently from 2.3-5.1 million VND/person; Nha Trang - Hanoi from 2-4.1 million VND; Phu Quoc - Hanoi from 2.4-7 million VND; Hue - Hanoi from 2.2-2.4 million VND.
Meanwhile, international routes to Hanoi have not recorded much change compared to the previous survey. Some routes such as Bangkok - Hanoi, Shanghai - Hanoi, Singapore - Hanoi and Hong Kong (China) - Hanoi still have many options for flight times and ticket classes.
Ticket price developments show that the impact of the concert is becoming clearer as the number of audiences has determined their participation. Previously, when the concert price list had not been announced, many fans were still waiting to buy official tickets before deciding to book air tickets and hotels.
Currently, all concert tickets have been sold out, making the demand for travel during the two days of the event have more basis to increase. With more than two months left, airfares may continue to change depending on the number of remaining seats and ticket booking time.
Hotels around My Dinh, Cau Giay have few choices
Not only aviation, the accommodation market in Hanoi is also clearly affected by the BIGBANG concert.
Previously, surveys showed that some hotels in the area near My Dinh Stadium had reached 60-80% room occupancy for the two days of October 24 and 25, although concert tickets had not yet been sold to the public at that time.
At Sheraton Hanoi West, about 2 km from My Dinh Stadium, the room occupancy during the two days of the concert was recorded to be about 70-80%. Meanwhile, Super Hotel Hanoi reached more than 60% and is expected to be fully booked when the event approaches.

At the present time, finding rooms around My Dinh and Cau Giay areas is more difficult than before. Many accommodation establishments have fewer choices for the two days of October 24 and 25, especially for rooms with convenient locations, reasonable prices or suitable for groups of guests from other provinces and cities coming to Hanoi.
The number of rooms on booking platforms is still changing continuously, so it is not possible to confirm that the entire My Dinh or Cau Giay area is in a situation of room shortage. However, the limited number of choices in many establishments shows that demand is strongly concentrated on the two days of the concert.
Previously, Klook data showed that in July, the number of searches and accesses to hotel information in Hanoi by domestic tourists increased by nearly 50% compared to the same period last year. For international tourists, the number of searches and accesses increased by about 30%. Traveloka also recorded domestic travel searches to Hanoi increasing more than 4 times compared to normal times during the BIGBANG concert.
The cost of a BIGBANG tour is increasing rapidly
For audiences from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc or other provinces and cities, owning concert tickets is only the beginning of the cost of the trip.
A trip to Hanoi for two days of the concert may include round-trip air tickets, two nights of hotel, travel expenses, food and sightseeing. For Ho Chi Minh City audiences, airfares at the present time can be up to more than 10 million VND, even more than 14 million VND for some flights.
Meanwhile, those who want to stay near My Dinh Stadium also have to accept higher room rates than usual or choose hotels further away, then move to the concert area.
Previously, some travel businesses assessed that airfares had not increased too sharply because the event time was still far away and fans were not sure about owning tickets. Currently, the situation has changed when all concert tickets have been sold out, meaning that the travel and accommodation needs of the group of audiences who bought tickets have become clearer.
Accommodation units are also preparing personnel and service plans to serve the increased number of guests during the concert. Some hotels plan to add products and services suitable for staying guests to watch the program such as shuttle buses, late-night meals..., while other establishments maintain operating plans like times when room occupancy is high.
With the heat of the BIGBANG concert, the Hanoi aviation and accommodation market is forecast to continue to be vibrant in the coming weeks. Fans who already have tickets need to calculate travel and accommodation plans early, because the closer to the concert date, the options for flight times, ticket prices and convenient rooms may continue to narrow.
