This year, knowing the early holiday schedule, I booked nearly a month in advance, both choosing a good flight time and saving a significant amount," Ms. Minh Anh shared.

The Hanoi - Da Nang round-trip route in the period from August 29 to September 2 has a common price of 3.6-4.5 million VND/person, the highest level is about 8.8 million VND.
The Hanoi - Phu Quoc route ranges from 3.6-6.5 million VND/person, while the highest level is up to 13.7 million VND. For the Hanoi - Nha Trang route, the fare is commonly from 5-8 million VND/person, the highest is about 14 million VND.
On the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route, the round-trip price ranges from 3-7 million VND/person, the highest level is about 8.6 million VND. The return route from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi has a common price of 3.1-4.8 million VND/person, the highest is about 9 million VND.
For routes from Ho Chi Minh City to tourist destinations, the Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang route costs from 3.5-4.7 million VND/person, the highest is more than 10 million VND. The Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc route ranges from 2.7-3.6 million VND/person, while Ho Chi Minh City - Hue is commonly from 3.4-4.7 million VND/person, the highest level is nearly 10 million VND.
Compared to the holidays of January 30 - May 1, this year's National Day air ticket market has not recorded a sharp price increase or ticket shortage.
About two weeks before the April and May holidays, many routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to tourist destinations such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc have increased sharply in price, many good hour flights quickly became fully booked. Some routes even only have high-priced tickets or passengers have to connect if they want to depart at convenient times.
Meanwhile, this year's National Day holiday, the fact that the holiday schedule was announced early and the survey time was nearly a month away from the holiday helps passengers still have many choices about airlines, time frames and price levels. Most of the highest prices only appear in flexible ticket classes or flights in good time frames.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Home Affairs, officials, civil servants, and public employees will have 5 consecutive days off for National Day, from August 29th to the end of September 2nd after implementing the workday swap from Monday (August 31st) to Saturday (August 22nd). With the long holiday, the demand for travel and returning home is forecast to increase in the coming weeks.
Travel agencies recommend that people planning to travel by air should book tickets early to have more choices and avoid the risk of price increases when demand rushes in close to the holiday.
