On April 14, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City said that activities on the occasion of Hung Kings' Death Anniversary in 2026 and the 13th Southern Folk Cake Festival in 2026 will start from April 26 - May 1 (ie March 10 - 15 of the 3rd lunar month).

Hung Kings Commemoration

From April 26th to May 1st, the "Preserving Southern Folk Cake" Space is organized, with demonstration activities, processing instructions and introduction of traditional cake making processes.
On April 26 - May 1, organize a space to promote tourism, introduce products, services and connect tours and routes of the city and localities.
From April 26th to May 1st, organize culinary business activities with folk cake stalls, cuisine, regional specialties, OCOP products and related products.

From April 26th to May 1st, organize the Folk Cake Contest, combined with demonstrations and introductions of traditional cake making methods.
From April 27th to May 1st, organize entertainment and folk games, creating an experiential space for people and tourists.
On April 27, organize an art program and fashion show with the theme "Tay Do River" (at the main stage of the Festival).
From April 28th to April 30th, organize acoustic music and traditional art performances (at the stage booth promoting Can Tho Tourism).
At 7 pm on May 1st, the Summary and Closing Program of the Festival will be organized.
