On the morning of April 22, the photo exhibition Vietnam Traditional Festival (Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and National Intangible Cultural Heritage) and the thematic exhibition Collection of costumes and jewelry of people in the Mekong Delta (Mekong Delta) officially opened at Hung Kings Temple in Can Tho City.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City, this photo exhibition and thematic exhibition will help the public have the opportunity to learn about the cultural and festival characteristics of ethnic groups; contribute to preserving and promoting the traditional Vietnamese Festival culture and introduce documents, images, and artifacts of costumes and traditional jewelry of Vietnamese, Khmer, Chinese, and Cham ethnic groups in labor production and festivals.
The photo exhibition includes 300 images. The thematic exhibition space introduces 60 images, 300 artifacts of costumes and jewelry of ethnic groups about daily life and festivals.
This is a harmonious combination of spirituality, culture and economy, helping people live in harmony with each other. These values not only exist in the past but are also passed down to future generations, contributing to building a civilized and sustainable society.
Currently, at the Hung Kings Temple, more than 500 documents, images, and artifacts are also being displayed in the thematic sections: "Dong Son Culture and the Hung Kings Era", "Mekong Delta towards the Ancestral Land", "Collection of Dong Son Cultural Bronze".
