With the goal of developing culture and improving the quality of local tourism, the People's Committee of Phu Xuyen district coordinated with a number of units to organize the program "Cuu Village - Fashion, Art and Tourism" from December 21 to 22 at the ancient village of Cuu, Van Tu commune, Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi.
The program is not only an opportunity to promote the unique image of Cuu village - an ancient village over 500 years old on the peaceful Nhue River - but also creates an opportunity for this craft village to integrate internationally.
The program also aims to promote the local economy, creating a trade and tourism bridge between Vietnam and Italy, as well as other countries, through trade promotion activities.
This is also part of the program to build a unique craft village tourist destination, promoting the unique traditional culture of Cuu village in the context of global cultural integration.

The historical space of Cuu village will bring a series of rich activities, including performing arts, trade exchanges, and culinary culture introduction, meeting the expectations of both domestic and international visitors.
Accordingly, the traditional craft activities of Cuu village will be deeply and vividly portrayed, giving visitors a true look at the craft techniques that have existed for generations.
The sewing profession, considered the "best in Hanoi" since the French colonial period, will be recreated through ancient sewing tables, with artisans skillfully embroidering each stitch. Products such as ao dai, handkerchiefs and handmade accessories all have the characteristics of Cuu village, demonstrating the talent of ancient Vietnamese craftsmen.
In particular, visitors also have the opportunity to admire the process of making sophisticated ceramics and handicrafts with each meticulous step, from shaping, carving to decorating patterns, vividly recreating a part of the rich cultural heritage of traditional Vietnamese craft villages.
The "Meet The Arts" activity will display artworks and traditional handicrafts such as ceramics, brocades and handicrafts made by artisans from Cuu village, helping visitors deeply feel the quintessence of Vietnamese culture.
This is also an opportunity for Italian businesses to access and learn about traditional handicrafts, expanding the potential for cooperation and trade between the two countries.
The "Meet The Poet" event promises to be a gathering place for famous poets from Vietnam and Italy. Poets will share and interact through selected works, bringing moments of immersion in words and emotions.
