Hanoi collects fees for visiting Bach Ma Temple and Kim Ngan Communal House from December 8

Hanoi - From December 8, visitors to Bach Ma Temple (No. 76 Hang Buom) and Kim Ngan Communal House (No. 42-44 Hang Bac) will have to buy tickets for 20,000 VND/trip at each location.

Implementing Resolution No. 66/2025/NQ-HDND dated November 27, 2025 of the Hanoi People's Council, the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter (the fee collection unit) will collect entrance fees at 2 relics in Hoan Kiem ward.

Accordingly, from December 8, the Management Board will organize fee collection at Bach Ma Temple (No. 76 Hang Buom) and Kim Ngan Communal House (No. 42-44 Hang Bac) with ticket prices of 20,000 VND/trip/guest/point.

Opening hours: All days of the week (morning: from 8:00 - 12:00; afternoon: from 13:30 - 17:30; evening: Friday, Saturday, Sunday: from 19:00 - 21:00).

The fee-paying subjects are domestic and foreign organizations and individuals visiting the Bach Ma Temple and Kim Ngan Communal House relics.

Subjects exempted from fee collection, including: People with severe disabilities as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 11 of Decree No. 28/2012/ND-CP dated April 10, 2012 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on People with Disabilities; children under 16 years old.

In cases where it is difficult to identify a person under 16 years old, it is only necessary to have any documents proving that he is under 16 years old such as birth certificate, student card. In case there are no documents to determine under 16 years old, the height of less than 1.3m will be applied.

Subjects with a 50% fee reduction include: Elderly people as prescribed in Article 2 of the Law on the Elderly (or citizen identification cards/other documents proving); students, trainees, and students aged 16 and over with student cards issued by schools in the national education system in Vietnam.

Subjects entitled to preferential policies for cultural enjoyment. In case it is difficult to determine, there must only be a certificate from the People's Committee of the commune, ward, or town where the person resides, specifically: People in the communes with special difficulties in mountainous areas and remote areas; people with revolutionary contributions; people subject to social policies such as: disabled people, lonely elderly people, caregivers at social protection facilities, students of ethnic boarding schools.

For those who are eligible for the above 2 or more incentives, the fee will only be reduced by 50%.
