Heavy rain in Hanoi appeared from the night of September 16 and lasted until the morning of September 17. Some areas recorded very heavy rainfall. From September 18th, heavy rain in the North (including Hanoi) tends to gradually decrease. From the night of September 18th to September 26th, Hanoi will mainly have showers and thunderstorms in some places.
Tomorrow and night (September 18), Hanoi will have rain, locally moderate rain, heavy rain, common rainfall from 15 - 30mm, in some places over 50mm. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
On September 19th day and night, Hanoi city will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. Common rainfall is from 5 - 15mm.
From September 20th, Hanoi will have showers and thunderstorms in some places.
Meanwhile, on September 18, the area from Thanh Hoa to northern Quang Tri still had moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, common rainfall of 20-50mm, locally over 100mm. From the night of September 18, heavy rain in this area also gradually decreased. From around September 21, rain in the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang and eastern Quang Ngai continued to tend to decrease.
In the Central Highlands and Southern regions, from September 18-21, there will still be moderate rain, thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain, mainly concentrated in the afternoon and night.
