The conference was chaired by the Center for Enterprise Development Support and Investment Promotion of Ha Tinh, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ha Tinh Tourism Association.
The conference was attended by 250 delegates, including representatives of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; representatives of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism's Travel Management Department; representatives of the Vietnam Tourism Association; and tourism and travel businesses from the northern and north central provinces and cities.
At the Conference, delegates watched a report introducing the potential, advantages, some destinations, relics, and tourist attractions of Ha Tinh province.
During the discussion at the Conference, delegates representing a number of districts, towns and businesses investing and exploiting tourist areas and spots in Ha Tinh introduced special and unique tourist destinations of their localities and units.
Delegates from the Tourism Associations of several other provinces and cities in the country, and representatives from Nakhon Phanom province (Thailand) also shared, exchanged, discussed, and suggested a number of solutions and new investment directions to effectively attract, promote investment, exploit, and develop tourism in Ha Tinh province.
At the Conference, representatives of the Tourism Association from the provinces of Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Bac Ninh and Hai Phong signed a memorandum of understanding on tourism development cooperation.
Ha Tinh Tourism Association also signed a memorandum of understanding with Vietnam Railway Transport Joint Stock Company.
The Ha Tinh Tourism Promotion Conference 2024 aims to contribute to introducing tourism potential, destinations, tourism products, services, policies, and tourism stimulus programs to promote and affirm the brand and image of Ha Tinh tourism.
The conference is also an event to promote promotional activities and destinations, creating opportunities for agencies, units and businesses to meet and connect with tourism businesses of the provinces to enhance exchanges and cooperation in tourism development.
On the sidelines of this conference, the organizing committee also promoted through the display of publications, beautiful photos, items, local specialties and related units; Organized for delegates to visit the special National Historical Site of Dong Loc T-junction (Can Loc district) and Da Bac Eco Tourist Area (in Nam Dien commune, Thach Ha district).
