On March 28, Vung Tau Ward People's Committee (HCMC) organized the Hai Dang Mountain Climbing Festival combined with launching the "Olympic Running Day for National Health 2026" in Bai Truoc Park area.
The event attracted more than 2,100 people, including a large number of local people and some tourists to participate and experience. From early morning, Bai Truoc park area became bustling and lively as people immersed themselves in meaningful activities to improve health and strengthen community cohesion.

After the opening ceremony and launching ceremony, the crowd simultaneously departed to walk along the distance of about 5km from Bai Truoc park area (Quang Trung street) to Ha Long street and then turned left into Hai Dang street, together conquering the road leading to the top of the mountain, where the Hai Dang was built in 1862, and is still operating today.
The image of thousands of people walking together has become a beautiful symbol of community vitality, of the spirit of solidarity, joining hands, and moving together for a healthy, dynamic, safe and livable Vung Tau ward.
