On April 7, at Hung Vuong Temple (Ngo Gia Tu Street, Nha Trang City), Khanh Hoa Province solemnly held the Hung Vuong Commemoration Ceremony.
Attending the incense offering to commemorate the Hung Kings at the temple were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province and representatives of departments, branches, organizations, unions, religions and thousands of people and tourists from all over the country.
According to Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee, Hung Vuong's Commemoration Day is an important holiday of the entire Vietnamese nation, which has become a sacred feeling, deeply imprinted in the hearts of every Vietnamese person whether at home or abroad.
This is a symbol of extremely unique and profound spiritual cultural values, showing the spirit of solidarity and traditional morality "Drinking water to remember the source"; Remembering the ancestors, the meaning of the people to make Vietnamese strength in the process of building and defending the nation's glorious country.
Mr. Thieu also emphasized that, implementing President Ho Chi Minh's advice: "The Hung Kings have built the country, our grandparents must work together to protect the country", in 2024, the Party Committee, government and people of Khanh Hoa province have achieved important results, many economic targets have been achieved, exceeding the plan and growing high compared to the same period last year.
Total product in the province is estimated at over VND 130,000 billion, up 10.16%; total social investment capital of over VND 80,000 billion increased by 13%; industrial production index increased by 27.15%, trade and service activities increased by 13.33%, tourism continued to grow strongly in terms of domestic and international visitors and revenue; import-export turnover exceeded the 2 billion USD mark for the first time.
Inheriting the achievements, in 2025, Khanh Hoa strives to accelerate development, successfully completing the goal of building the province into an socio-economic center of the South Central Coast region, completing the goals identified in Resolution 09-NQ/TW dated January 28, 2022 of the Politburo on building and developing Khanh Hoa province by 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Hung Vuong Temple in Nha Trang City was mobilized by authorities at all levels and people to be built in 1971 on a 396.2m2 plot of land with a temple frontage facing the West, in front of Ngo Gia Tu Street.
In June 1973, the Hung Vuong National Assembly was inaugurated, combining the worship of 18 Hung Vuong members, the body of the bur bur bur burner, the burner and the burner.
The temple has 4 gates, forming 3 main entrances, the widest in the middle, only open during major holidays, the 2 side doors are used regularly for people and tourists to go in and out to offer incense. In 2008, Hung Vuong Temple was ranked by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic.
