On the afternoon of February 26, the Nha Trang Tourism Cyclo Union under the Nha Trang City Labor Federation coordinated with the Organizing Committee of the Khanh Hoa People's English Program to open an English lock for cyclo drivers.
This course has about 150 students divided into 2 morning and afternoon classes (30-45 minutes) with a duration of about 3 months/course.
Identifying the subjects of English learning as cyclo drivers, the organizing committee has developed a teaching plan suitable for practice.

Accordingly, students will have access to simple contents such as famous landmarks, dishes, directions, and calculation of fees.
English words are translated by the Organizing Committee for pure Vietnamese sound, with easy-to-understand images and QR codes for learners to access and listen to directly.
Mr. Le Quang Nhat - Chairman of the Tourism Cyclo Union, Vice Chairman of the Nha Trang City Labor Federation assessed that the Organizing Committee's opening of an English course for cyclo drivers is suitable for practice.
The above courses are the key to helping cyclo drivers communicate well with international tourists.

In addition to teaching English, Nha Trang Tourism Cyclo Union is currently researching and developing projects to teach popular languages in the world to cyclo drivers.
Mr. Le Dinh Vu - a cyclo driver, assessed this English course as a meaningful program. Through the course, cyclo drivers are equipped with a foundation of basic knowledge in communicating with tourists.
"Knowing English, we can confidently communicate with tourists. In the long term, smooth communication also opens up many future job opportunities for the brothers" - Mr. Vu confided.
Ms. Bui Thu Dung - Director of Khanh Hoa People's Project in English, said that the program has currently spread to 6/8 localities in Khanh Hoa with 230 English clubs.

Regarding the course for cyclo drivers, Ms. Thu Dung said that each course lasts from 30-45 minutes with the aim of helping drivers communicate basically.
Once drivers know how to speak English, it will help them have a long-term connection with tourists. Ms. Dung believes that every cyclo driver who speaks English well will be a bridge to spread the beautiful image of Nha Trang and Khanh Hoa tourism to international friends.
