The program is organized by the Department of Tourism in coordination with the Quang Ninh Tourism Association and Sun Group to increase competitiveness and attract more tourists to the heritage site, especially after the severe impact of Typhoon Yagi.
The tourism stimulus program with the theme "Quang Ninh - Four-season destination" will be implemented from now until the end of 2024 with a series of products and services for tourists with deep discounts of up to 50%.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the tourism stimulus program, Mr. Nguyen The Hue - Chairman of Quang Ninh Tourism Association - said that businesses and units have registered for a tourism stimulus package with over 350 product packages. Of which, there are 100 accommodation establishments, 63 travel agencies, 67 restaurants and shopping centers, 10 tourist attractions, 44 cruise ships and sightseeing boats, 9 community tourism units, and 4 transportation services.
From now until the end of the first quarter of 2025, the Tourism Association will continue to coordinate with branches and businesses to organize famtrip groups to survey and promote communication to introduce Quang Ninh destinations to domestic and international tourists.
Continuing to carry out key tasks such as: Quang Ninh culinary festival at the end of December 2024, spring festival, many tourism businesses, cruise ships, international passenger ports are building programs with 1-2 days of free service for guests each month, creating attraction to attract visitors to Quang Ninh.
At the program, Sun Group Corporation committed that when visitors come to Dragon Park in Sun World Ha Long Tourist Area, they will receive a 50% discount on entertainment tickets. Visitors using the Queen cable car service at Sun World Ha Long will be given an attractive food voucher to use at Fuji Restaurant - Japanese Garden. Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh hot spring resort will reduce prices by 51% compared to peak season.
Right at the stimulus ceremony, more than 200 businesses and business units signed a commitment to apply deep incentives while ensuring the best quality and service for tourists.
Affirming the significance of the event, Ms. Nguyen Huyen Anh, Director of Quang Ninh Department of Tourism said: “Quang Ninh tourism industry needs solidarity and cooperation of all businesses to improve competitiveness, reduce prices, and bring tourists quality products at attractive prices. Hopefully, the cooperation of businesses will create a strong wave of effects, attracting a large number of tourists to Quang Ninh this fall and winter”.
