On the afternoon of April 10, within the framework of the VITM Hanoi International Tourism Fair 2026, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh and Ca Mau provinces coordinated to organize a tourism promotion conference with the theme "Connecting heritage, spreading identity".
The event aims to introduce potentials, strengths, and unique tourism products, while promoting regional linkages - a strategic direction identified in the context of increasingly competitive tourism and signs of saturation.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Duy Phong - Deputy Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism - emphasized: "Three localities, three regions representing different cultural spaces of the country, when connected, have created a rich inter-regional tourism journey, diverse experiences and full of development potential.
According to Mr. Phong, each locality possesses its own unique values. Ninh Binh stands out with cultural and natural heritage, in which the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex is listed by UNESCO; Hung Yen is rich in cultural traditions with a system of festivals and craft villages; while Ca Mau has the characteristics of forest-sea and Southern river culture.
Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hung Yen province - said: "Hung Yen has been and is building tourism products associated with typical events such as Pho Hien Folk Culture Festival, Food Festival, Longan Festival... This is a highlight to create experiential values for tourists.
Mr. Tran Xuan Truong - Director of Ca Mau Tourism Promotion Center - informed that the locality owns "heritage nuclei" such as Mui Ca Mau National Park, U Minh Ha melaleuca forest, combined with Don ca tai tu culture and river life, creating a unique attraction.

Not only stopping at promotion, experts believe that linkages need to go deeper into products. Mr. Truong Quoc Hung - Chairman of UNESCO Travel Club Hanoi said that it is necessary to elevate heritage values with real stories and experiences. Good products, but the experiences of tourists with local people must also be positive to retain and attract tourists to return.
Agreeing with this view, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa Mai - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism emphasized the orientation of inter-regional product development: "Tourism is not about selling each individual destination but selling a journey of continuous experience." According to her, the "one journey - three identities" model needs to be built on the foundation of connecting the cultural space of the Northern Delta, world heritage and the land maw ecosystem.
At the conference, the parties also agreed to strengthen promotion, build inter-provincial tours, promote digital transformation and expand the market. B2B activities between businesses, along with product and tourism publication display spaces, have created real connection opportunities between the parties.
Within the framework of the event, the three localities signed a cooperation agreement on tourism development, aiming to form attractive inter-provincial products, improve service quality and promote sustainable tourism development in the coming time.
