Da Hoa Temple Festival 2026 takes place from March 28 - March 30 in Me So commune, Hung Yen province. Visiting this place, people and tourists not only immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the festival but also directly participate in many folk games and unique experiential activities.One of the activities that attracts a large number of participants is familiar folk games such as Chinese chess, tug-of-war...Unlike Chinese chess, human chess is a combination of intellectual competition and artistic performance. On the "chessboard", each piece is a real person in traditional costumes, moving according to the moves of the chess players.Ms. Nguyen Thi Thong (56 years old, Hung Yen), participating in human chess activities at the Da Hoa Temple festival, shared: "I feel lucky that the locality has this festival. Although it has been held for many years, every year it is crowded and fun, attracting a large number of people and tourists. Folk games such as swimming, Chinese chess, human chess... all receive great attention. In particular, this year the Da Hoa Temple festival was recognized as a national relic, so it is organized more solemnly, and people are very excited.Dragon dance activities also leave many impressions. According to traditional beliefs, the dragon is a symbol of the nation's origin, associated with the legend of Lac Long Quan - Au Co; at the same time, it is a sacred image, sending wishes for favorable weather, a prosperous and happy life for the people.Many people were present very early to watch the swimming competition.
On March 28, at Da Hoa Temple (Me So commune, Hung Yen province), the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province organized the opening ceremony of the festival and received the Certificate of ranking as a Special National Relic of Da Hoa - Da Trach Relic Site. This is also an important basis for the locality to continue to implement measures to preserve, maintain and promote the value of relics associated with cultural tourism development.
