These days, at the Tran Temple - Long Hung relic site (Long Hung commune, Hung Yen province), preparations for the opening ceremony of the 2026 Tran Temple Festival are being implemented urgently, synchronously and methodically, with the professional and highly responsible spirit of participating forces.
In the central space of the festival, the main stage is gradually being completed with a modern sound and lighting system; decoration items, festival flags, ceremonial space and delegate reception area are being constructed and completed every hour.
The team of artists, actors, and technicians actively practiced and rehearsed the art program, aiming for a solemn and emotional opening ceremony, recreating the Dong A spirit, honoring the Tran Dynasty heritage in Long Hung homeland. The atmosphere of preparation was bustling from early morning to late at night, showing meticulousness, enthusiasm and determination to bring a safe and impressive festival season.
The Tran Temple Festival in Hung Yen province in 2026 is organized on a provincial scale for 5 days, from March 1st to March 5th, 2026 (ie from January 13th to the end of January 17th of the Binh Ngo year), at the Tomb and Temple Area of the Tran Dynasty Kings, Long Hung commune.

The opening ceremony will take place at 7 pm on March 1, 2026 with the theme "Brightening the Tran Dynasty heritage - Radiantly welcoming the new era".
The festival consists of two main parts. The ceremony part is solemnly organized according to traditional rituals with rituals: offering prayers, offering incense to the Tran kings, water procession, pedestrian procession and ritual activities.
The festival part took place sôi nổi with a series of cultural, artistic, sports and tourism promotion activities such as: displaying OCOP products, introducing Hung Yen tourism, ca tru exchange, practicing Mother Goddess worship in Tam Phu, traditional contests (banh chung wrapping, fish feast, betel and phoenix wings making, pulling fire to cook rice, calligraphy), organizing the 24th Vietnam Poetry Day, launching the implementation of "Criteria on cultural environment in traditional festivals", along with folk sports tournaments such as shuttlecock bridge, tug of war, ethnic wrestling...
With careful, synchronous and serious preparation, the Tran Temple Festival 2026 is expected to become a cultural and tourism highlight at the beginning of spring in Hung Yen, contributing to spreading the historical and cultural values of the Tran Dynasty and promoting the local image to a large number of people and tourists.
