On May 4, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province informed that during the holidays of April 30 and May 1, the total number of visitors to tourist areas and destinations in the area is estimated at about 210,000, an increase of 68% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach 2,000, domestic visitors are estimated to reach 208,000. Total revenue from sightseeing and accommodation services is estimated at 78 billion VND, up 24.8% over the same period in 2024.
During the holidays, cultural, sports and tourism activities in localities take place vibrantly. Many sports, cultural, artistic, tourism activities... have attracted a large number of people and tourists to participate.
The leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province said that during the holiday, cultural and tourism business services of organizations and individuals operate to ensure security and safety.
The authorities have not recorded information about cases of fighting and forcing tourists to buy goods and services... The organization of customer service during the holiday is guaranteed, without unwanted incidents.
