On May 1, "Dak Lak Hot air balloon Festival 2025 - flying over the great river" officially took place in Buon Don district, Dak Lak province.
The festival takes place with many activities such as: Free hot air balloon performance and hanging flight; experiential activities for tourists; cultural and traditional artistic exchanges; local food and specialty booths... The flight time is from 7:30 - 10:30 and from 15:30 - 18: 30, flight time is 5 - 10 minutes.
The Festival Organizing Committee has prepared many different types of tickets to meet the needs of tourists such as: standard flight tickets, sunset tickets, priority tickets, private flight tickets to watch the sunrise.
For the first time, visitors will fly into the sky of the Central Highlands. From there, you can see with your own eyes the vast forests, the shy stilt houses along the river and the cultural paintings of dozens of ethnic groups together embroidering a legendary land of Buon Don.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, a tourist from Hue City, shared: This is the first time I have been able to take a hot air balloon. In particular, this experience allowed me to admire the majestic scenery of the Central Highlands from above. The local scenery is very beautiful, leaving a deep impression on visitors. The organizing committee has implemented the event methodically, with accommodation and ticket prices".
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Deputy General Director of Dak Lak 2-9 Import-Export Company Limited (sponsor) said: "This is the first year the locality has organized this special event. Therefore, we organize very carefully, the top goal is to ensure the safety of tourists.
The organizers expect that the "Dak Lak Hot air balloon Festival 2025 - flying over the great river" will attract more than 100,000 visitors to Buon Don district for 3 days.
