On August 16, the Vietnam Exhibition House in collaboration with the Hanoi Department of Tourism held an opening ceremony for the "Hanoi Tourism Days" program in Japan, which is one of the outstanding activities of Hanoi city at the EXPO 2025.
In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Trung Hieu - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, affirmed that in terms of cooperation with Japan, over the years, Hanoi and other Japanese localities, including Osaka, have had deep and comprehensive cooperative relations in many fields, especially tourism development cooperation.
The Hanoi Tourism Days program at EXPO 2025 is a good opportunity to widely promote the image of Hanoi - City for Peace, Creative City to international tourists and friends, and is also an opportunity for both sides to promote strong, effective and sustainable development of Hanoi - Osaka tourism cooperation.
Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha - Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka, said that through this event, the Japanese public has the opportunity to learn and visualize Hanoi more clearly, businesses can find opportunities for cooperation and together write new pages in the friendship between the two countries.
Recently, Hanoi has won many prestigious awards from international tourism organizations: "Asia's Leading City Tourism Destination 2024" (voted by the World Tourism Organization (WTA); "World's Most Attractive Culinary Destination"; top 25 Most popular Destinations in the World (rated by Tripadvisor).
Within the framework of "Hanoi Tourism Days", the Vietnam Exhibition House in collaboration with the Hanoi Department of Tourism organizes a Tourism Introduction Space with the theme "Hanoi: Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive Destination".
The space introduces Japanese people and international tourists to the heritage, history, culture and people of traditional, modern and integrated Hanoi; at the same time, promotes handicraft products, tourism souvenirs from traditional craft villages of Hanoi such as: Bat Trang ceramics, Van Phuc silk silk silk, folk paintings, lacquer...
In addition, there are many interesting and interactive experiences such as enjoying delicious Hanoi cuisine, making traditional lotus tea... that have been well received by visitors. In addition to sightseeing, visitors can access information about tourism businesses and tourism products of Hanoi and Vietnam, especially content aimed at the Japanese tourist market.
