From October 4-12, the Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week within the framework of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival will take place at the Kiep Bac Temple, Con Son - Kiep Bac Special National Monument, Tran Hung Dao Ward, Hai Phong City.
The event aims to honor the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac Scenic Landscape Complex recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage, while welcoming the merger of the old Hai Duong province with Hai Phong and the success of the first City Party Congress (term 2025-2030).
The festival lasts for 9 days with many rich activities: displaying, demonstrating traditional crafts, introducing OCOP products, typical agricultural products, tourism - cuisine.
The booth area includes 15 exhibition spaces, 6 miniatures and information stations, combined with the main welcome gate inspired by the three-door gate of Con Son Pagoda and the modern culinary welcome gate.
The art program continuously opened at 9am on October 4 with a ribbon cutting ceremony, introducing new tourism products, to performances of the Contemporary Arts Theater, Cheo Xu Dong Theater, the College of Culture, Arts and Tourism with the topics "Con Son - Kiep Bac - The song of a thousand years", "Hai Phong - Heritage region", "Hai Hac Bach Dang Giang" with special water puppet performances.
The Organizing Committee requires units, enterprises, artisans and participating entities to comply with regulations, ensuring solemn, professional, safe, environmentally hygienic organization and fire prevention and fighting.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the City Tourism Association and localities to promote culture, tourism, typical agricultural products and OCOP products of Hai Phong to domestic and international tourists.
