According to Lao Dong's records at Nha Trang Tourist Wharf on the morning of the 4th day of the Lunar New Year, a large number of tourists got off the ship to join tours to visit the islands in Nha Trang Bay.
Mr. Tran Van Phu - Head of Nha Trang Tourist Wharf, said - from the 29th to the 3rd day of Tet, nearly 18,000 visitors registered to visit the islands in Nha Trang Bay. Compared to the 2024 Tet holiday, the number of visitors to the islands in the past days has decreased by about 12%.
However, on the 4th day of Tet, early in the morning, there were many boats registering passengers to visit the islands. Today (February 1), Nha Trang Tourist Wharf welcomed about 10,000 passengers. It is expected that the number of passengers registering to visit the islands will continue to increase during the last days of the holiday.
“On this occasion, we have increased the landscape decoration and increased the force to create a spring atmosphere from the shore while ensuring security and safety for passenger ships visiting the islands of Nha Trang Bay. At the same time, we have increased guidance for tourists to not use and bring disposable plastic products into the sea to preserve the bay environment,” Mr. Phu informed.
Truong Son Craft Village in Nha Trang continues to be a popular destination for local visitors. From the first to the third day of Tet, Truong Son Craft Village welcomed more than 6,000 visitors.
The weather in Nha Trang this year is cold, so the apricot garden with more than 1,000 trees blooms later. According to the representative of Truong Son Craft Village, the apricot flowers started blooming brilliantly from the 3rd day of Tet.
The craft village opens from 7:30 to 18:30 from the 1st to the 5th of Tet with the highlight being the Snake mascot of the year of At Ty and many colorful flower gardens along with traditional crafts for visitors to admire and experience.
From the evening of the 29th to the 4th day of Tet, Ponagar Tower welcomed a large number of people and tourists to come and worship at the beginning of the year and visit.
Mr. Tran Duc Ha - Director of Khanh Hoa Province's Monument Conservation Center - informed that during Tet, the two locations Ponagar Tower and Hon Chong welcome about 8,000 visitors every day. To serve the people and tourists during this Tet, the unit organizes music programs and performances of traditional musical instruments every night.
Not only the locations, hotels and resorts in Khanh Hoa also organize many activities to welcome the Spring to serve tourists. During the 2025 Tet holiday, many resorts in the area of Tran Phu Street, Cam Ranh Peninsula... have room occupancy rates of 70-100%. Of which, the number of international visitors has increased significantly.
