In 2026, the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism sets a goal to strive to be in the top 5 localities attracting the largest number of visitors in the country.
Accordingly, the total number of visitors is expected to reach about 25.8 million, of which international visitors are about 1.58 million, and revenue from tourism activities is estimated at about 71.5 trillion VND.
This year, the locality plans to organize many notable festival and tourism activities such as: Da Lat - Lam Dong Flower Festival XI (end of 2026); Vietnam Brocade Culture Festival III; Langbiang International Music Festival 2026; Cau Ngu Festival at Van Thuy Tu Palace; Nghinh Ong Festival; Thay Thim Palace Festival; Katê Festival...

In the field of sports, in 2026, Lam Dong province will continue to organize many sports activities that are the strength of the locality, attracting tourists such as: Dalat Ultra Trail 2026 (super off-road marathon), Vietnam Festival of three off-road sports (swimming - cycling - running), Di Linh Outdoor Festival 2026 running race, Prenn Trail Summit 2026, LamDong Trail 2026 running race, Dalat Music Night Run 2026...
During this year's summer tourism peak season, Lam Dong province also implemented many activities to promote and link tourism development with localities.

The locality also surveys and develops new tourism products; organizes conferences to promote and link tourism development between regions to expand the tourist market, strengthen regional linkages and develop tourism products.
At the meeting, representatives of organizations and businesses frankly exchanged difficulties and obstacles, and at the same time proposed initiatives, solutions and orientations for developing the Lam Dong culture, sports and tourism industry in the coming time.
In particular, in the context of Lien Khuong airport temporarily closing to serve the repair project for nearly 6 months, Lam Dong needs to implement solutions to promote tourism recovery and development in a quality, efficient and sustainable direction.
The locality focuses on researching and developing unique tourism products; promoting the attraction of international tourists; strengthening training and tourism culture. At the same time, urgently upgrading national highways through the area and expanding the inter-provincial and inter-regional transportation system.

Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province - said that in the coming time, the local tourism industry will proactively implement solutions to adapt to the temporary closure of Lien Khuong airport.
Accordingly, the tourism industry will strengthen multimodal transport connectivity, coordinate to organize transit from nearby airports, strongly develop road tours and inter-route products, and implement stimulus programs in stages.
During this time, the local tourism industry also focused on investing in upgrading facilities, embellishing the landscape, especially improving service quality to be ready to serve tourists and break through when Lien Khuong International Airport reopens.
