On January 11, the People's Committee of Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong province) opened the "Mai Anh Dao on Cau Dat tea region" Festival in 2026.
This is an activity in response to the Cherry Blossom Festival - Da Lat Spring 2026, chaired by the People's Committee of Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, in coordination with Lam Vien - Da Lat, Xuan Truong - Da Lat, Lang Biang - Da Lat and Cam Ly - Da Lat wards, taking place from January 16 to February 5, 2026.
The program "Cherry blossoms on Cau Dat tea region" is one of the outstanding activities of the Cherry Blossom Festival - Da Lat Spring 2026, directed by Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to be organized to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress, celebrate the Party - celebrate Spring and towards the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2026.
Through the festival, the locality honors the unique beauty of cherry blossoms - the symbol of Da Lat spring; and at the same time promotes the aesthetic, ecological and cultural values of this flower to people and tourists at home and abroad.
The festival also contributes to preserving and promoting the image of "Da Lat - city of thousands of flowers", the brand "Da Lat Flower Festival", and at the same time creating unique spring tourism products, increasing the attractiveness of attracting tourists, contributing to the sustainable development of local economy and tourism.
On Cau Dat tea hill - a tea region with a history of more than a century, people and tourists immerse themselves in the spring space with the vast green color of the tea hill, dotted with the brilliant pink color of cherry blossoms blooming.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Hung Son - Chairman of Xuan Truong Ward People's Committee - Da Lat, said that the program "Cherry blossoms on Cau Dat tea region" not only honors the typical flower of Da Lat but also marks the beginning of a series of cultural, tourism, and economic activities that the locality is focusing on promoting.
Through the program, the locality wishes to promote the beauty and potential of Xuan Truong land; strengthen the spirit of solidarity and emulation among cadres, party members and people, and join hands to build an increasingly developed, civilized and sustainable locality.
The highlight of the festival is activities to visit and take photos with the cherry blossom season on Cau Dat tea hill; an exhibition of photos of old and new Da Lat; enjoying local specialties such as tea, coffee, wind-dryed roses, vegetables, flowers and participating in planting cherry blossom trees in the tea hill area.
