Coming with friends to enjoy banh mi as well as the cultural space at Le Van Tam Park (District 1), Ms. Pham Thi Mai (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) said she was very excited to experience the types of banh mi for sale at this year's festival.
This year's Vietnam Bread Festival is not only an opportunity to enjoy unique banh mi, but also a place for each Vietnamese person to become "ambassador" in introducing the unique culinary values of their homeland.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh - President of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, the 2025 Vietnam Bread Festival is not only a place to enjoy but also to honor the culinary cultural values of Vietnam on the world map.
In the activities taking place throughout the 4 days (March 21-24), visitors will experience and enjoy a banh mi feast with many types of banh mi from many countries.
In fact, banh mi has continuously appeared on the world culinary map when mentioned in dictionaries, books, newspapers... In 2011, banh mi (/ˈbɑ̂n miː/) is a separate name officially added to the Oxford dictionary. This is considered an important milestone for Vietnamese cuisine.
In 2020, Google Doodle honored Vietnamese street food banh mi. In 2022, "banh mi" officially appeared in the famous American dictionary - Merriam-Webste.
