The 2025 Vietnam Bread Festival attracts people as well as domestic and foreign tourists because of the impressive flavor of banh mi.

Enhancing the value of Vietnamese cuisine, the 2025 Vietnam Bread Festival is a miniature cultural space, gathering many artisans making banh mi, restaurants, eateries as well as food lovers.

Coming with friends to enjoy banh mi as well as the cultural space at Le Van Tam Park (District 1), Ms. Pham Thi Mai (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) said she was very excited to experience the types of banh mi for sale at this year's festival.

This year's Vietnam Bread Festival is not only an opportunity to enjoy unique banh mi, but also a place for each Vietnamese person to become "ambassador" in introducing the unique culinary values of their homeland.

Mr. Duong Tan Truoc (27 years old, Binh Thanh District) said that he was very excited to talk and share with foreign tourists about Vietnamese banh mi.

Unable to hide her excitement when enjoying the attractive banh mi, Ms. Fanny (a French tourist) said: I find Vietnamese banh mi very delicious, not like French banh mi. The flavor is very different. I really love and am fascinated by the flavor of this Vietnamese dish.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh - President of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, the 2025 Vietnam Bread Festival is not only a place to enjoy but also to honor the culinary cultural values of Vietnam on the world map.

In the activities taking place throughout the 4 days (March 21-24), visitors will experience and enjoy a banh mi feast with many types of banh mi from many countries.

In fact, banh mi has continuously appeared on the world culinary map when mentioned in dictionaries, books, newspapers... In 2011, banh mi (/ˈbɑ̂n miː/) is a separate name officially added to the Oxford dictionary. This is considered an important milestone for Vietnamese cuisine.

In 2020, Google Doodle honored Vietnamese street food banh mi. In 2022, "banh mi" officially appeared in the famous American dictionary - Merriam-Webste.

Not only the children's festival, in recent times, the Ho Chi Minh City tourism industry has launched a series of culinary events and festivals such as the Cho Lon Food Story District 5 Food Festival, culinary tourism experiences in the city...
