On the morning of September 27, at the 2025 Vietnam Tourism Awards Ceremony, Thanh Ha Ceramic Village, Hoi An Tay Ward, is a representative of Da Nang City honored in the category of "Best Community Tourism Destination".
The award is an important milestone, recognizing the efforts of management agencies and local communities in preserving and promoting the unique cultural and historical values of this traditional craft village over 500 years old.

With a long history of formation and development, along with the almost intact preservation of traditional craft village relics and landscapes; traditional handmade pottery processing process and valuable indigenous folk knowledge,... Thanh Ha pottery village today has become a unique tourist destination, assessed by many experts as a model of craft village tourism and community tourism in Vietnam, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and experience.
In 2019, Thanh Ha pottery was included in the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Vietnam Tourism Award is organized annually by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to honor high-quality tourism businesses, organizations, and educational institutions that have made positive contributions to the development of Vietnam's tourism, contributing to affirming the position and role of the tourism industry in the national economy.
This year's awards ceremony was held on the occasion of World Tourism Day, September 27, with the message of responding to sustainable tourism transformation launched by the United Nations Tourism Organization, to promote sustainable, fair and environmentally responsible tourism.
The fact that Thanh Ha pottery village was honored in the category of "Best community tourism destination" is not only the pride of the craft village, but also a testament to the correct orientation of developing craft village tourism associated with the community, helping to create great values for the community.

This is also a driving force to promote sustainable tourism activities, associated with preserving traditional cultural values, the active participation of the community, as well as the creativity of local people.
