Convergence of heritage quintessence
From August 28 to September 1, Ca Mau province for the first time organized the Provincial Heritage Culture Festival and Hot Air Balloon Festival with the theme "Convergence of cultural identity at the southernmost tip of the Fatherland".
The main activities take place at Hung Vuong Square, Bac Lieu ward and some locations in the province, aiming to create new cultural and tourism products to serve people and tourists on the occasion of National Day 2. 9.
The highlight of the festival is the space converging the quintessence of intangible cultural heritage representing regions and regions. Localities with UNESCO-registered heritage sites will introduce, display, and perform unique art forms such as: Hue royal court music, Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs, Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space, Southern amateur music...

Besides, there is a space to promote the intangible cultural heritage of salt making; trade fairs, cuisine, OCOP products; cultural exchange and experience activities.
According to Mr. Ly Vy Trieu Duong - Deputy Director of Ca Mau Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the gathering of cultural heritage from many regions in the same space will bring new experiences to tourists, while contributing to spreading the value of Vietnamese cultural heritage.
First airship performance
The hot air balloon festival is a new activity, creating a unique mark for the Culture Heritage Day and the first Ca Mau Hot Air Balloon Festival.
According to Mr. Ngo Vu Thang - Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee, the event not only takes place within the locality but also has the participation and exchange of heritage artisans from many provinces and cities across the country and professional hot air balloon teams.

Notably, 34 hot air balloons will be performed, including 2 level 7 flying hot air balloons, 1 hot air balloon for sightseeing, 16 level 1 hot air balloons and 15 ground-decorated hot air balloons.
Combined with the hot air balloon performance is the flag salute ceremony to celebrate the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd at Hung Vuong Square, Bac Lieu ward and the Hanoi Flagpole at Ca Mau Cape, Dat Mui commune. The national flag with an area of more than 2,000m2 will be used in the flag salute ceremony.
In addition to cultural programs, Ca Mau province organized the 2026 Investment Promotion Conference; Conference to summarize 5 years of implementing the Tourism Development Cooperation Linkage Program between Ho Chi Minh City and provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta in the period 2020-2025, and signed a cooperation plan for the period 2026-2030.
With a series of cultural, tourism, trade, and investment promotion activities taking place right before and during National Day September 2, Ca Mau expects to create a new tourism product, attracting people and tourists to the southernmost land of the Fatherland.
