HCMC - The 2025 Vegetarian Food Festival attracts more than 200,000 visitors and experiences.

On November 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Food Association said that after 5 days of taking place (October 31 - November 4), the 2025 Vegetarian Food Festival has attracted more than 200,000 visitors and experiences.

More than 150 food and vegetarian food stalls of more than 120 businesses have been arranged to serve people and tourists. In particular, 10,000 vegetarian buffet coupons were sold out, along with hundreds of connection sessions and signing of deals taking place both in person and online.

Within the framework of the festival, the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association has officially established a Vietnam Record with 200 vegetarian dishes made from lotus. From familiar ingredients such as Dong Thap pink lotus, Western organic vegetables, brown rice and beans, artisans and chefs have created more than 200 rich vegetarian dishes such as garlic, steamed, om, cakes, sweet soup, high-end parties...

According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Viet - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Food Association, the success of this year's festival affirms that Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine is not only attractive in its quintessence of flavors but also opens up a new economic sector - a vegetarian economy that is developing strongly.

This is the driving force for the Vietnamese F&B industry to transform towards green and sustainability. At the same time, it creates a promising business destination for domestic and foreign enterprises, a friendly meeting place for diners and tourists who love vegetarian cuisine.
