Vegetarian Food Festival in Ho Chi Minh City becomes more vibrant

HCMC - The 2025 Vegetarian Food Festival will take place from October 31 to November 4, gathering more than 200 booths and expected to attract about 150,000 visitors.

At the press conference introducing the 2025 Vegetarian Food Festival - Green Food Festival 2025 on October 20, Mr. Nguyen Tan Viet - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association, said that following the success of the 2023 Vegetarian Food Festival, this year's event is expected to take place from October 31 to November 4 at Binh Phu Park.

The festival aims to promote the quintessence of Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine, while encouraging the community to move towards a green, environmentally friendly lifestyle.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang - Vice Chairman of Binh Phu Ward People's Committee, the event is not only an opportunity for people and tourists to enjoy the sophistication of Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine, but also an opportunity to join hands to build a green, waste-free community.

The 2025 Vegetarian Food Festival will be held on an area of over 7 hectares, gathering more than 200 booths of businesses, restaurants, vegetarian food brands and OCOP. The event is expected to attract about 150,000 visitors.

Within the framework of the festival, there will be many rich activities such as vegetarian art performances, green nutrition and health talks, exhibition of Vietnamese vegetarian ingredients, international vegetarian food seminars, Green Tourism - Green Cuisine - Green Economy and Sustainable Development forum, and music - culture exchange programs.
