On April 15, the Organizing Committee of the Hoa Lu Festival 2026 held a conference to review the progress of activities at the festival.
According to the report of the Department of Culture and Sports and the opinions of member sectors, up to now, the contents of the ceremonial part and the festival part have been implemented according to the plan to ensure the set progress.
The script for the opening art program has been completed, the cast and artists are rehearsing; the stage and stands at Dinh Tien Hoang De Square are being installed. The work of printing and issuing invitations, car tickets, and delegate cards has been implemented.
The ceremonial activities are prepared methodically by Tay Hoa Lu Ward People's Committee; propaganda and visual encouragement work is rich and diverse in content and form, promoting the strengths of media types; the landscape of the relic area, the area of King Dinh - King Le Temple and the festival yard are synchronously renovated. Security and order, fire and explosion prevention, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, health, and ensuring electricity supply are proactively implemented by functional units according to the plan.
People's Committees of Hoa Lu, Tay Hoa Lu, and Nam Hoa Lu wards review and deploy repairs and installation of propaganda panels and banners in the area, and at the same time promote propaganda on the grassroots broadcasting system;...
Tay Hoa Lu Ward People's Committee plans to hang 4,400 turns of flags; 82 banners and slogans; install 03 pano clusters announcing the festival program at points: festival bus station, Truong Yen Post Office and water procession area; mobilize 100% of agencies, units, schools and over 90% of households on main roads to hang national flags during the festival.
Hoa Lu Ward People's Committee has installed propaganda decoration clusters at the beginning of Trang An street, Da Gate at the beginning of Dai Co Viet street; hung 30 banners, 21 trays of flags, planted 1,150 flags.
The Hoa Lu Festival in 2026 has special significance, commemorating the 1,058th anniversary of Dinh Bo Linh's ascension to the throne as Emperor (968 - 2026). This is an occasion to commemorate the merits of predecessors, arouse patriotism, national pride and promote the image of the land and people of the ancient capital Hoa Lu - Ninh Binh.
