Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has just officially issued a document agreeing with the policy of organizing fireworks displays to celebrate major holidays, important historical events of the country and the province and serve the people in 2026.
Accordingly, the fireworks display will be held at Doi Tam Drum Square, belonging to SunUrban City urban area (Ha Nam ward, Ninh Binh province). The scale includes both high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks, with a single firing point.
The expected implementation time is from April 25, 2026 to September 6, 2026, with a frequency of 2 days/week, in the time frame from 9 pm to 10 pm. Each firing period does not exceed 15 minutes.
In terms of scale, the number of high-altitude fireworks is about 150,000; low-altitude and fireworks are about 120,000 per set.
All organizational expenses are mobilized from socialized sources, without using the state budget.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Ha Nam Ward People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Military Command and Provincial Police to organize the implementation, ensuring that activities take place safely, effectively, and in accordance with regulations; and at the same time maintain security and order and avoid waste.
Fireworks display activities not only create a cultural and tourism highlight, contributing to promoting Ninh Binh's image to domestic and foreign tourists, but also show the government's concern in improving the spiritual life of the people. This is also an opportunity to arouse pride, consolidate the great unity bloc and spread a joyful atmosphere, believing in the development of the locality in the new period.
