On January 7, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that the province is directing departments, branches, units and localities to focus on preparing the best conditions to organize the Da Lat Cherry Blossom Festival - Spring 2026.
This is the opening event for a series of unique cultural and tourism activities during the 2026 Binh Ngo Tet holiday.
The festival is directed by Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, organized by Xuan Huong Ward People's Committee - Da Lat, to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party, celebrate the Party - celebrate Spring and towards the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2026.
The event is expected to create a highlight in promoting the image of people, culture and unique beauty of Da Lat, associated with cherry blossoms - the spring "messenger" of Lam Vien Highlands.
The festival aims to welcome a growth of domestic and international tourists of about 30%; and at the same time promote revenue from accommodation, food and travel services during Tet compared to the same period in 2025.
The festival space stretches around Xuan Huong Lake and some central roads, creating favorable conditions for tourists to participate and experience.
In addition to the semi-scenic art opening program with music, fashion and modern stage technology, the festival also has many activities such as: planting trees "Radiant spring of Da Lat with cherry blossoms", launching maps of flower viewing spots, artistic creation program with cherry blossoms and experiential activities for tourists, taking place from January 16 - 25, 2026.
The Organizing Committee said that the opening stage inspired by the Cau Dat cherry blossom forest will be retained throughout the festival season, becoming a spring flower space for people and tourists to visit and take photos. Thereby, contributing to spreading the image of gentle, elegant and hospitable Da Lat in the early days of the new year.
