On December 30, the Organizing Committee of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Spring Festival 2025 held a meeting to deploy the organization of the Spring Festival 2025. Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Spring Festival 2025 chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, the Organizing Committee of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Spring Festival 2025 agreed to continue organizing the festival on a large scale, associated with the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Con Son with activities such as the tree planting launching ceremony "Con Son - 60 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's instructions"; thematic exhibition "Uncle Ho with Con Son", the cross-country race "Journey of connecting cultural heritage"; the extended marathon "Con Son - Kiep Bac - Thanh Mai World Heritage Journey"... responding to the movement of physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho.
2025 is the first year that Hai Duong province cooperates with the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha to organize the festival, in which the highlight is the Con Son - Kiep Bac Spring Festival Opening Ceremony, commemorating the 691st anniversary of the passing of the Third Patriarch of Truc Lam Huyen Quang Venerable (1334 - 2025) and commemorating the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Con Son (February 15, 1965 - February 15, 2025) and launching the tree planting ceremony "Con Son - 60 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's instructions" scheduled to be held on the morning of February 13, 2025 (ie January 16 of the lunar calendar).
As every year, the Con Son - Kiep Bac Spring Festival 2025 takes place for 7 days, from February 13 to February 20 (ie January 16 to 23, At Ty year). Within the framework of this year's festival, activities such as the Opening Ceremony, Water Procession Ceremony, Sacrificial Ceremony on Ngu Nhac Mountain, Huyen Quang Third Patriarch's Death Anniversary Ceremony, Mong Son Thi Thuc Ceremony, clay cannons, Chinese chess, ethnic wrestling, Chung cake wrapping and Day cake pounding competitions, Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week, etc. will still be maintained.
