According to updated information from Hanoi City Police, after December 26, the temporary ban and restriction time for vehicles will take place from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM on December 27.
During these hours, trucks with a total designed weight of 1.5 tons or more and passenger cars with 16 seats or more will be prohibited from circulating, except for buses, garbage collection vehicles, incident handling vehicles, protection badges, vehicles of the Police, Army and priority vehicles as prescribed.
Roads subject to temporary ban and restriction of vehicles include: Pham Hung section from Pham Hung - Me Tri intersection to Pham Hung - Tran Duy Hung; Thang Long Avenue lane adjacent to the National Convention Center section from Pham Hung - Tran Duy Hung to the service road of Thang Long Avenue - Le Quang Dao; Do Duc Duc, Mieu Dam, Lieu Giai, Van Cao lanes adjacent to Quan Ngua Sports Palace.
Other restricted routes include: Tran Duy Hung, Nguyen Chi Thanh, Kim Ma, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Tran Phu, Hung Vuong, Chu Van An, Dien Bien Phu, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Doc Lap, Hoang Van Thu, Nghi Tam, Thanh Nien, Hoang Hoa Tham section from Tam Da slope to Hung Vuong, Van Phuc, Le Hong Phong, Hoang Dieu, Le Duan, Hang Long, Tran Binh Trong, Tran Nhan Tong section from Quang Trung to Le Duan, Tran Hung Dao section from Quan Su to Da Tuong, Trang Thi section from Tho Nhuom to Quang Trung, Pham Ngoc Thach section from Xa Dan to Dao Duy Anh and Dao Duy Anh road.
During the temporary ban and restriction of vehicles on some roads, Hanoi City Police will divert vehicles in the temporary ban area.
Vehicles from eastern provinces such as Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh going to northern, western and northwestern provinces such as Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang move along Thanh Tri bridge - Hanoi - Bac Giang highway - National Highway 18 and vice versa.
Vehicles from the eastern provinces to the western and northwestern provinces such as Phu Tho, Son La, Dien Bien follow the Thanh Tri - Do Muoi - Ngoc Hoi - Phan Trong Tue - Cau Buou - Phuc La - Van Khe - Quang Trung - National Highway 6 or Ngoc Hoi - National Highway 1A - Provincial Road 427 - National Highway 21B - National Highway 6 and vice versa.
Vehicles from the direction of Vo Van Kiet, Thang Long bridge to Thang Long Avenue are guided along the Pham Van Dong - Ho Tung Mau - Cau Dien - National Highway 32 - Provincial Road 70 route.
