Hanoi City Police informed that the temporary ban and restriction of vehicles will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on December 26 and from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on December 27. During these hours, trucks with a total design weight of 1.5 tons or more and passenger cars with 16 seats or more will be prohibited from circulation, except for buses, garbage collection vehicles, incident handling vehicles, vehicles with protection badges, vehicles of the Public Security and Military forces and priority vehicles according to regulations.
The routes that are temporarily banned and restricted on vehicles include: Pham Hung from Pham Hung - Me Tri intersection to Pham Hung - Tran Duy Hung; Thang Long Avenue, the lane adjacent to the National Convention Center, the section from Pham Hung - Tran Duy Hung to the Thang Long - Le Quang Dao Avenue service road; Do Duc Duc, Mieu Dam, Lieu Giai, Van Cao Tien adjacent to Quan Ngua Sports Palace.
In addition, other routes are restricted including: Tran Duy Hung, Nguyen Chi Thanh, Kim Ma, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Tran Phu, Hung Vuong, Chu Van An, Dien Bien Phu, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Doc Lap, Hoang Van Thu, Nghi Tam, Thanh Nien, Hoang Hoa Tham from Tam Da slope to Hung Vuong, Van Phuc, Le Hong Phong, Hoang Dieu, Le Duan, Hang Long, Tran Binh Trong, Tran Nhan Tong from Quang Trung to Le Duong, Tran Hung Dao from Quan Su to Da Tuong, Trang Thi Dao from Tho Nhuom to Quang Trung, Pham Ngoc Thach from Dao Duy Commune to Dao Duy Anh Street.
During the temporary ban and restriction of vehicles on some routes, Hanoi City Police diverted vehicles under the temporary ban.
Vehicles from eastern provinces such as Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh to northern, western and northwestern provinces such as Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang travel along the Thanh Tri bridge route - Hanoi - Bac Giang expressway - National Highway 18 and vice versa.
Vehicles from the Eastern provinces to the Western and Northwestern provinces such as Phu Tho, Son La, Dien Bien go along the Thanh Tri - Do Muoi - Ngoc Hoi - Phan Trong Tue - Cau Buu - Phuc La - Van Khe - Quang Trung - National Highway 6 or Ngoc Hoi - National Highway 1A - Provincial Road 427 - National Highway 21B - National Highway 6 and vice versa.
Vehicles from Vo Van Kiet, Thang Long bridge to Thang Long Avenue are guided along Pham Van Dong - Ho Tung Mau - Cau Dien - National Highway 32 - Provincial Road 70.
