On 5.5.2025, Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the adjustment of the organization of training and rehearsal of the program of the team and the mass parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong (May 13, 1955 - 13.5.2025) and the Red Phoenix Flower Festival - Hai Phong 2025.
Accordingly, the temporary traffic diversion period for routes prohibiting people and vehicles from participating in traffic (except delegates and guests) on May 9 will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
People and vehicles are prohibited from participating in traffic (except delegates and guests) on the following routes:
- Tran Hung Dao Street (from Tran Hung Dao - Hoang Dieu intersection to Tran Hung Dao - Hoang Van Thu intersection).
- Tran Phu Street (from Tran Phu - Hoang Dieu intersection to Nguyen Duc Canh - Cau Dat intersection)
- Quang Trung Street (from Quang Trung - Hoang Van Thu intersection to Quang Trung - Lan Ong intersection)
- Nguyen Duc Canh Street (from the intersection with the road behind the Exhibition House to the intersection of Nguyen Duc Canh - Cau Dat)
- Hoang Van Thu Street (from Nguyen Duc Canh intersection - Dat Bridge to Hoang Van Thu - Phan Boi Chau intersection)
- Dinh Tien Hoang Street (from Dinh Tien Hoang - Phan Chu Trinh intersection to Dinh Tien Hoang - Tran Phu intersection)
- Le Dai Hanh Street (from Le Dai Hanh - Phan Chu Trinh intersection to Le Dai Hanh - Tran Hung Dao intersection)
- Minh Khai Street (from Minh Khai - Tran Quang Khai intersection to Minh Khai - Tran Hung Dao intersection)
- Tran Quang Khai Street (from Minh Khai - Tran Quang Khai intersection to Tran Quang Khai - Tran Hung Dao intersection)
- Ly Tu Trong Street (from Ly Tu Trong - Dien Bien Phu intersection to Ly Tu Trong - Tran Hung Dao intersection)
- Dien Bien Phu Street (from Dien Bien Phu - Luong Khanh Thien intersection to Dien Bien Phu - Ly Tu Trong intersection)
- Cau Dat Street (from Dat Bridge - Hai Ba Trung intersection to Dat Bridge - Nguyen Duc Canh intersection)
- Me Linh Street (from Me Linh - Quang Trung intersection to Me Linh - Hai Ba Trung intersection)
- Nguyen Khuyen Street (from Nguyen Khuyen - Luong Khanh Thien intersection to Nguyen Khuyen - Tran Phu intersection)
- Pham Ngu Lao Street (from Pham Ngu Lao - Luong Khanh Thien intersection to Pham Ngu Lao - Tran Phu intersection)
For level crossings in the city center:
- Limit vehicles from moving on adjacent streets leading to the above streets.
- Based on the actual traffic safety and order situation, the time for banning and restricting vehicles may start earlier and last longer than the above time.
- During the temporary traffic diversion period, people and vehicles participating in traffic proactively have a travel route, comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and the instructions of traffic control forces.
In addition to the road closure schedule on May 9, Hai Phong City also organized a road closure on May 10 and 11 to serve the organization of a team approval program and mass parade on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day.
People and tourists coming to Hai Phong to visit and watch the parade on this occasion should pay attention to monitoring and updating information to choose a suitable route.
