This year's festival brings together nearly 130 booths from all over the country, offering visitors dishes and specialties from three regions.
Here, visitors can easily enjoy "familiar" dishes such as: pho, bun cha, banh cuon, cha ca, especially hand-pounded squid cake - the culinary symbol of the Ha Long heritage area.
Central cuisine includes Hue beef noodle soup, Quang noodles, Hoi An cao lau or Hue banh beo. The South offers typical river dishes such as fish sauce hotpot, grilled snakehead fish, and Southern banh xeo.
A series of artistic activities, from Xam singing, Cheo singing, and Love Song singing... were performed by artists from Ha Long, Mong Cai, Uong Bi, Binh Lieu, Dong Trieu, and Dam Ha.
Visitors can immerse themselves in folk games such as bamboo dancing, stick pushing, stilt walking, or participate in a "country market" that vividly recreates the cultural life of the region.
Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2024 is an annual event to promote Vietnamese culinary culture, increase the attractiveness of Quang Ninh tourism, aiming to turn Quang Ninh province into a "Four-Season Tourist Destination".
The event not only helps visitors enjoy delicious dishes but also contributes to the goal of welcoming 20 million visitors by 2025, including 4.5 million international visitors.
The festival lasts from December 26 to 29, 2024, promising to bring visitors a memorable year-end holiday in Quang Ninh.
