On August 30, records showed that a large number of tourists began to move to Vung Tau (HCMC) to have fun and relax on the 2nd day of the holiday.
On the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, the number of vehicles moving towards Vung Tau increased higher than on the first day of the holiday, but traffic was still ensured. The gateway roads to Vung Tau also recorded an increase in the number of vehicles but quite clear.
Some key traffic routes in Vung Tau ward such as Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Van, Ha Long... are still circulating normally, without congestion.
The weather in Vung Tau on August 30 was quite beautiful with clear blue skies, calm seas, and the receding tide creating a wide sandy beach attracted a large number of tourists gathering at Bai Sau to have fun. The large number of visitors made some areas almost packed with tourists.
According to the Vung Tau Ward Public Service Supply Center, the number of tourists to the locality on the 2nd day of the September 2nd holiday has increased many times compared to the first day. On August 30, Vung Tau welcomed about 55,000 visitors, 3.4 times more than on August 29, which only welcomed about 16,000 visitors.
On-duty work, strengthening rescue forces during peak hours achieved good results. Through this, 2 cases of drowning were rescued and brought ashore safely, and have now recovered healthily; and at the same time coordinated to search, care for and return 10 stray children to their families safely. The security and order situation, environmental sanitation... in the ward are ensured.
