According to records, the accommodation system including hotels, guesthouses and homestays in the Ly Son special zone has reached maximum capacity. Many establishments said they have booked all rooms, especially on peak days of the April 30 - May 1 holiday.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, owner of Hung Thinh Hotel, shared that compared to previous years, the number of guests this year has increased significantly. Guests book rooms very early, many peak days have been "booked" from the beginning of April 2026. During this time, our facility operates at full capacity but still does not have enough rooms to meet customer demand.

Not only large-scale hotels, many homestays and guesthouses are also attracting customers. According to business owners, the trend of family, group, and experiential tourism is increasing, contributing to increasing accommodation demand.
It is forecasted that during the April 30 - January 5 holiday, Ly Son special zone will welcome thousands of visitors per day, especially on peak days, it will welcome more than 3,000 visitors. The increased number of visitors has also strongly increased transportation demand on the Sa Ky - Ly Son route, many high-speed trains have been fully booked early.
Notably, one of the factors contributing to stimulating tourism demand this year is that the price of high-speed train tickets on the Sa Ky - Ly Son route tends to decrease and be more stable compared to previous peak periods. Reasonable ticket price adjustments help tourists easily access destinations, especially in the context of the demand for economical, short-day tourism becoming a trend.

Along with that, according to the forecast of the meteorological and hydrological agency, the weather in Ly Son during the holiday is assessed to be quite favorable, sunny and beautiful, with little rain and calm seas. This not only ensures safety for transportation activities, but is also very ideal for tourists to participate in outdoor activities such as swimming, coral diving, visiting Be Island or exploring famous tourist attractions.
Mr. Nguyen Van Huy - Chairman of Ly Son Special Economic Zone People's Committee said that the locality has developed a specific plan to welcome and serve tourists during the holidays; in which, focusing on controlling service prices, ensuring security, order, environmental sanitation and improving service quality.
Specifically, functional forces will strengthen inspection and supervision of tourism service business activities, require listed price establishments to publicly list prices, sell at the correct regulated prices, and resolutely handle violations, especially the situation of raising prices and soliciting customers.
At the same time, the transport sector has also proactively increased the frequency of high-speed train trips, ready to add trips when necessary, in order to meet the increasing travel demand and limit congestion at the port.
Ly Son Special Zone owns many attractive destinations such as To Vo gate, Hang Cau cave, Hang Pagoda, Thoi Loi peak, Be island, Lang Tan Ong fish skeleton display house, Hoang Sa Flotilla display house kiêm quản Bac Hai... These are destinations that attract a large number of tourists, especially young people and "devotees" of experiential tourism.
Not only outstanding in landscape, the Ly Son special zone also bears a strong cultural and historical imprint with relics associated with the Hoang Sa Heroic Army. This year's holiday, tourists coming to the island also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in traditional cultural activities, notably the Tu Linh Traditional Boat Racing Festival - a unique activity of coastal residents.
